Partners Ease SAP® Business One Solution Deployments With Hosting Option
SAP NEWSBYTE - Following the successful example of flexible deployment options for the SAP® Business All-in-One application, SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today announced a subscription-based, hosted delivery model for the SAP® Business One solution. Addressing prospective customers’ preference for minimal upfront cost and IT overhead, this offering is provided exclusively through qualified SAP partners, including CAP Solutions, Datalab, Fasttrack, Onyx and Seidor.
In a first step, the subscription-based hosted delivery model for SAP Business One is available now in China, France, Germany, India, Italy, South East Asia, Spain and the United Kingdom. Additional countries, including the United States, are planned to be added during the course of 2011.
“Small businesses are increasingly looking for an integrated solution to run their business while minimizing TCO,” said Carlos Iribarren, head of Seidor. “We expect this trend to increase in the future, and we are happy to be one of the first partners to address this growing market demand jointly with SAP.”
SAP Business One integrates all core business functions, including financials, sales, customer relationship management, inventory and operations. In the new model, this is combined with a single, fixed monthly fee that covers the expenses of software, hardware, implementation and operations. An SAP partner hosts the solution and configures it to the customer’s specifications. This allows for lower total cost of ownership (TCO), faster implementation times and higher predictability of costs. Contract durations run from 12 months to four years and are then renewable on a yearly basis.
