“Protecting Your Girls“

ORLANDO, FL - On June 29th, 2011 Dr. Jennie Yoon debuted a weekly YouTube four part series aptly named ’Protecting The “Girls”.’ Girls meaning breasts. Dr. Jennie Yoon will give valuable information on Breast Cancer facts and prevention methods. The weekly series can be viewed on YouTube with new shows updated every Wednesday morning.

As of the latest stats, Breast Cancer is the second leading cause of death for women, it is the most common form of cancer and in 2010, Breast Cancer claimed the lives of 40,000 women. This YouTube miniseries is to help empower women on methods to take care of themselves and other important health issues that effect women.

Dr. Jennie Yoon, believes with the use of Social Media Tools like Word Press and YouTube, we can reach more women and it help encourage them to use tools like mammograms for early detection purposes. The addition of the YouTube series enhances the services Dr. Jennie Yoon uses for The Jennie Yoon Buchanan M.D. Breast Cancer Fund. This fund was formed by Dr. Jennie Yoon and her husband in December 2010 and all services they offer patients are free of charge.

Since its formation the fund has already been able to provide 72 diagnostic tests for free that include mammograms, ultrasounds, MRI’s and biopsies. Thanks to the generosity of the Fund’s donors, seven (7) cancers have been found. These women’s lives were saved because of the Jennie Yoon Buchanan M.D. Breast Cancer Fund, administered by the Florida Hospital Foundation.
