Dr. Hinkle says, “I believe a healthy life-style contributes to the well-being of the total woman. Through examining your current health status and making small behavioral changes, everyone can move in the direction of better overall health.”

The UNT Nurse-Midwives group is located in Fort Worth, Texas and serves patients at four locations. They believe that every woman is entitled to comprehensive, community-oriented health care in a setting that supports cultural variations and fosters the dignity of each individual. They view the components of healthcare to include the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of the individual. Pregnancy and childbirth are viewed as normal life processes and every woman should be allowed to actively participate in the decision-making and planning of her care.
