Agfa HealthCare honored by Premier healthcare alliance for operational excellence

6th annual Performance Awards recognize suppliers for outstanding management of Premier agreements

Agfa HealthCare today announces that it has won a Performance Award from the Premier healthcare alliance. The Premier Performance Awards recognize contracted suppliers for their outstanding management of Premier agreements and their drive toward the mutual goal of providing clinical and financial value to the more than 2,500 U.S. hospitals that are Premier alliance members.

Meeting and exceeding operational expectations
Each year, Premier chooses from among its more than 800 contracted suppliers for the award. For the 6th annual awards, in 2011, 38 suppliers, including Agfa HealthCare, were honored with a Performance Award. The awards applaud the efforts of these contracted suppliers to meet and exceed operational expectations. To select the recipients, performance data is collected and scored over four successive calendar quarters.

Agfa HealthCare recognized for supporting alliance members
Russell accepted the award at the 2011 Annual Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition in Nashville, Tennessee. The award ceremony was held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center on Wednesday, June 15.
