Local Communities Adapting to Climate Change: Managing Risk in Decision-Making
This one-day course will introduce municipal leaders and planning professionals to the tools they need to better assess and manage the risks associated with climate change. Our approach helps community leaders to consider how they can alter everyday decision making to better prepare for the risks that may lie ahead. This course is tailored specifically for the needs of suburban and rural communities. The key concepts introduced will be “scenario planning” and collaborative approaches to decision-making.
