Department of Justice Awards Contract to Unisys for IT Services to Support Law Enforcement and Public Safety

Unisys among 20 companies to compete for task orders on Information Technology Support Services-4 contract



BLUE BELL, Pa., – The Department of Justice (DOJ) awarded a contract to Unisys (NYSE: UIS) to compete for task orders under the Information Technology Support Services-4 (ITSS-4) contract for information technology support services such as applications modernization, integration, and operations and maintenance.

Unisys is one of 20 companies awarded an ITSS-4 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a seven-month base period and six one-year options, exercisable at the discretion of the government. This IDIQ contract has a total potential value capped at $1.1 billion over seven years. The contract is open for use by any organization within the DOJ, as well as other government agencies.

Unisys is a contract holder under the current DOJ ITSS-3 IDIQ contract which was awarded in 2004 and expires in September of this year.
