Aon Hewitt New Platinum Sponsor of DMEC

WEBWIRE

Aon Hewitt is the newest platinum sponsor of the Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC) for 2011.

Jim Curcio, Aon Hewitt’s Absence Solution & Strategy Leader (West Region), will serve on DMEC’s Executive Advisory Board, which functions to support the strategic direction and development of DMEC. As one of DMEC’s Platinum sponsors, Aon Hewitt will play a supporting role in the organization’s key programs, research and conferences, including its Behavioral Risk in the Workplace conference in March and its Annual International Conference in August.

“As one of the world’s leading human capital consulting and outsourcing firms, and as a result of our major presence in the absence management industry, Aon Hewitt is very excited to expand its long relationship with DMEC by becoming a Platinum sponsor,” reports Mike Rogalski, Senior Vice President of Aon Hewitt’s Point Solutions Group that includes its Absence Management division.

Rogalski goes on to add, “Being a major sponsor of such an industry leading organization affords Aon Hewitt the ability to work directly with the DMEC staff and its membership to deploy our resources, expertise, and global reach to help solve the most pressing and complex people challenges and benefit program integration strategies that DMEC member organizations face today.”
Aon Hewitt is the 12th Platinum Sponsor of DMEC, the leading developer of integrated disability management strategies for employers.

“The decision by Aon Hewitt to become DMEC’s newest Platinum sponsor is a reflection of their recent merger and our history with both the Aon and Hewitt (LCG/Nucleus Solutions) organizations. It is a natural for us to partner at this level, as DMEC has been strongly supported for over 10 years by a number of individuals, including Jim Curcio. Their respected expertise will be an important asset to our board and plans for future growth,” says Marcia Carruthers, CEO and President of DMEC. “We are very excited to have them as a Platinum Sponsor in 2011.”
