BooksOnBoard Reveals This Weekend’s Bestsellers

A few older releases have crept onto BooksOnBoard’s bestsellers list this weekend, most notably Lauren Kate’s young adult paranormal, Fallen. The eponymous first installment in its series, Fallen (2009) became popular among both adult and young adult readers--debuting on the New York Times Bestsellers at number five, and reaching number three several months later--and the series’ audience only grew after the release of its sequel, Torment (2010). The third in the series, Passion, will be available Tuesday June 14, and readers who haven’t been following the dark love story are clearly eager to catch up before Passion arrives.

Latecomers will have plenty of time to get abreast of the drama before the series comes to its conclusion; the final novel, Rapture, is scheduled to be in stores next spring.
