Financial Recruitment Specialists Sellick Partnership Provide iXBRL Advice
Financial recruitment specialists, Sellick Partnership, hosted a breakfast seminar on iXBRL Solutions at Baker Tilly last week to support their clients, candidates and contacts during this governmental transition.
On 1st April 2011, HM Revenue and Customs announced new regulations which specify that they will only accept online lodgement of company tax returns, statutory accounts and corporation tax computations in a special format known as iXBRL.
Sellick Partnership therefore invited 60 finance specialists to an iXBRL Solutions Breakfast Seminar on Thursday 19th May. The seminar explored the new HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) reporting requirements and offered advice on the implications iXBRL will have on businesses and finance departments.
Chris Stone from HMRC, Jack Mansfield of Companies House, Gary Carrington from Baker Tilly and a team of Independent iXBRL consultants spoke at the seminar and answered attendees’ questions.
Sellick Partnership’s Permanent Recruitment Manager, Aaron Drewitt commented, “We organised the iXBRL Seminar with the aim of assisting our clients and candidates with this difficult new area of government-enforced online reporting.
“The seminar has been incredibly well received; everyone who attended has commented that they have a better understanding of what iXBRL is and how to effectively and efficiently make the transition.
“We have a team of specialist financial consultants who are ready to assist you with any iXBRL issues, so please contact the team at Sellick Partnership for more information on how we can assist you.”
