Hyundai Reports It’s Best-Ever May


June 1, 2011- Oxnard, Calif.- Oxnard Hyundai is proud to confirm, Hyundai has reported an all-time record May sales of 59,214 units, up 21 percent compared with the same record-breaking period last year.

The Hyundai Elantra and Sonata each top 20,000 monthly sales for the second month in a row. Hyundai achieves 35.8 MPG average fuel economy.

“We are thrilled to have had such a great month,” said Charles Shaw, General Manager of Oxnard Hyundai. “We are consistently being innovative to offer drivers exactly what they are looking for,” he said.

This marks the fifth consecutive month that Hyundai has set an all-time monthly sales record. For the year, total sales are up 29 percent, with retail volume rising 40 percent.
