General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.) to Keynote at 2011 Symantec Government Symposium

Powell, USA (Ret.) – the former United States Secretary of State – will give the morning keynote presentation at the Symantec Government Symposium: 24-7: Assured, Efficient, Anywhere. Rand Beers – under secretary for the National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD) at the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) – will deliver the luncheon keynote. The event will take place on June 14, 2011, at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.

The Government Symposium is the premier government IT security and management conference. This one-day annual event is designed to facilitate peer-to-peer dialogue and exchange of best practices.
