Dell Services Implements ERP Solution for TreeHouse Foods to Streamline Business Processes and Support Continued Growth
- SAP® solutions support rapid integration of large, transformational acquisitions
- Deployment creates enhanced data analysis capabilities and facilitates efficient operating environment
- Solution offers greater visibility into key financial indicators and accountability processes
Dell Services today announced it has completed Phase 1 implementation of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution for TreeHouse Foods Inc. that will help position the company for continued growth and expansion.
TreeHouse Foods, a mid-market private label food manufacturer and distributor, recently underwent a rapid channel and platform expansion that extended the company’s product offerings. In February 2011, Dell Services deployed an ERP solution to help TreeHouse better align operations and create a unique private label platform to help improve organizational efficiency, support the integration of large transformational acquisitions, and maintain aggressive targets for IT spend.
Completed from project preparation to go-live within 12 months, the solution now provides TreeHouse with immediate access to enhanced data analysis capabilities that can boost the company’s competitive edge. TreeHouse Foods is currently utilizing SAP® solutions to streamline business processes and increase visibility to more quickly respond to business needs across its supply chain, IT, manufacturing, finance, and service operations.
SAP® solutions deployed to support standardization across the company and enable rapid integration include SAP Business Suite software, SAP BusinessObjects™ Data Services software, and the SAP NetWeaver® Business Warehouse component. The SAP ERP application helps decrease the amount of operational workarounds associated with a horizontally growing business and improves core organizational functions.
TreeHouse is also leveraging Dell Services’ preconfigured installation of SAP solutions for consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies to help meet the complex industry requirements. The food industry template includes specialized services in support of SAP solutions included in a pre-packaged solution based on SAP ERP 6.0 and offers enhancements to areas such as extended rebate processing, integrated warehouse management, extended sales order processing, and contribution margin planning. The announcement was made at SAPPHIRE® NOW, being held in Orlando, Fla., May 15-18, 2011.
