It has not always been that way, Fatima Omar Khamissa aka Recovering Doormat left an abusive relationship of 21 years with five children, no money and no place to go. She started educating herself to gain the clarity and confidence to make a comfortable home for herself and the children.
Human behaviour has always been a fascinating subject for Fatima because she loves knowing why people do the things they do. Fatima found a connection between thoughts and reality. She began to use these new techniques on herself to remove her own shyness and fear of people.
The more she changed, the more confidence she got to leave her abusive marriage. Other people noticed the transformation and they wanted the same. Fatima got certified as a Life Coach and took her message online. In April 2010, God and Energy was launched. In May 2011, God Conscious Women’s Institute was launched.
Today, Fatima Omar Khamissa is taking her great work worldwide, helping more women find their voices and step into their potential. She continues to be a top trainer for businesses where she motivates and teaches techniques on increasing sales and creating successful mindsets to over 62,000 members weekly.
