BASINGSTOKE, UK - May 8, 2006 - Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today announced it will demonstrate its comprehensive MOTOwi4™ wireless broadband solutions at WiMAX World Europe. The MOTOwi4 portfolio incorporates Canopy® wireless broadband solutions, Mesh and WiMAX access networks and backhaul solutions and is designed to help service providers offer true high-speed fixed or mobile access to their customers.

Motorola has pledged its support as official corporate host of WiMAX World Europe and will demonstrate new MOTOwi4 solutions at its stand (202), as well as contributing to the conference speaker programme. WiMAX World Europe promises to be the largest wireless and mobile broadband event in Europe and aims to address the opportunities, threats and likely progress of the technology. With Europe a key region for WiMAX adoption, the conference aims to help operators develop WiMAX networks for maximum efficiency and revenue.
