Portland Hotspots Gets New Face

PORTLAND, OREGON, MAY 10, 2011 – In Portland, reading your facebook newsfeed can actually save you money. Portland, Oregon residents can now get dining deals at hot restaurants and fine dining through the Portland Hotspots facebook page.


It is estimated that 90% of customers are online and using social networking sites. Of those customers, 85% will search for a company online before calling to get further information. Portland Hotspots is working to capitalize on those numbers when it comes to dining out and dining referrals.
The site is more than just a deal aggregate. All it takes to become a member is a simple facebook ’Like’ on the Portland Hotspots facebook fan page. This adds the Portland Hotspots status updates and posts to a user’s facebook newsfeed. Posts will begin to appear automatically once ’Liked’.
