Sellick Partnership’s Manchester Professionals Cricket League Bowls Into Action

Sellick Partnership’s Manchester Professionals Cricket League (MPCL) is returning for the third year running from Monday 9th May 2011 and will last ten weeks, with nearly thirty teams participating from Manchester’s elite professional service businesses.

Jo Sellick, Managing Director of Sellick Partnership, established the league in 2009 to promote cricket as a sport, and to create a platform for networking Manchester businesses to network – as well as raising money for both St Ann’s Hospice and the Lord’s Taverners.

The League commences this week and will run to mid-July, with games played on Monday to Thursday evenings at clubs in and around Manchester.

Mr Sellick, who himself is a cricket enthusiast and team captain for Sellick Partnership, commented, “I’m really looking forward to starting MPCL this week. Many of our high profile clients are participating and we have some new teams on board this year too. The League is a great opportunity to meet new people, interact with other like-minded professionals and build relationships, with some sports-friendly competition mixed in as well!”

In conjunction with the launch of the Cricket League, Sellick Partnership has created a striking new MPCL microsite, which will be the hub of all MPCL 2011 information, including fixtures, leagues, results, rules, teams, and venues.
