Agrikj°p renews and extends communication agreement with Telenor


(Fornebu, 5 May 2006): The agricultural purchasing organisation Agrikj°p has renewed and extended a framework agreement with Telenor covering the provision of voice communication solutions. The agreement runs for two years and is worth over NOK 100 million a year.

Agrikj°p is the purchasing organisation for Norwegian agricultural co-operatives, with members such as TINE, Gilde, Prior and Felleskj°pene. The agreement means that Telenor will supply services such as fixed telephony, mobile telephony, intelligent network services and mobile data solutions to the member businesses of the agricultural co-operative. Agrikj°p already has a similar framework agreement with Telenor covering broadband telephony, video communication and internal company data networks (IP VPN) and associated security services.
