Trade Organization Status Achieved by Holistic Mentorship Network

Newton, NJ: The Holistic Mentorship Network (HMN) is delighted to announce that it has officially been designated as a trade organization for the holistic profession, with a designation of 501(c)(6). As a trade organization for the holistic profession, HMN will represent and lobby for the entire array of health professionals who practice holistically or with a holistic philosophy in their practice. This status gives HMN both a more powerful base of practitioners to lobby on behalf of and a stronger organizational basis from which to support integration of alternative practices into the medical arena.

The Holistic Mentorship Network was established in 2004 by Linda Mitchell and serves the holistic and wellness practitioner through education, business development, mentoring practice and networking with other practitioners. In addition, the Holistic Mentorship Network works with the medical community to educate practitioners on holistic modalities and integration of holistic approaches. After several years of growth in its membership and activities offered, the Holistic Mentorship Network is proud to announce its new tax-exempt status.

Linda Mitchell, founder of HMN, is so proud and excited to finally receive notification that HMN is a trade association. “It’s been a long journey and a lot of hard work over the years. A lot of professional growth has happened to get us to this point as an organization. We have a huge vision and a lot to do. I’m just ecstatic to be part of a field that does so much good for the world. I’m so fortunate to be working with a strong leadership team because I can’t do it alone – and who would want to?” Linda stated with characteristic enthusiasm and passion.
