RB Arkitektur participated at ECOWEEK 2011 in Thessaloniki

Rahel Belatchew Arkitektur (RB Arkitektur) has participated at ECOWEEK 2011 Urban Communities + Green Architecture, an international conference in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Rahel Belatchew Lerdell gave a talk on sustainable urban development, and presented two projects with a clear ecological character, namely a master plan for a new district in Uppsala and housing in Norra Djurgårdsstaden in Stockholm, Sweden.

Rahel Belatchew Lerdell also participated in a panel who judged the results of 37 workshops arranged during ECOWEEK 2011.

RB Arkitektur’s participation at ECOWEEK was supported by the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Sweden’s Embassy in Athens.

“It was inspiring to take part in an international exchange and to share some of Sweden’s experience in a context that raises awareness of sustainable architecture in other parts of the world,” says Rahel Belatchew Lerdell, CEO and founder of RB Arkitektur.
