Interoute’s Cloud powers Group to profitability

Interoute grows EBITDA 46% in 2010

London - Interoute Communications Ltd, owner operator of Europe’s largest next-generation network, today announced that demand for its Unified ICT enterprise services and its pan European cloud service delivery network led it to its first full year as a net profitable company. Interoute’s top line revenue grew to €295m, a rise of 10% over 2009, while EBITDA grew 46% to €58m. Now Interoute plans to use the cash it is generating to drive more growth through acquisitions, a strategy it quickly put into effect with the acquisition of a managed video conferencing company in the first few months of 2011.



The launch of its Unified ICT offering in 2010 has attracted a growing list of international enterprises looking for more flexibility from their telecoms and computing infrastructure. At the same time, Interoute expanded the range of services it offers International service providers and extended its network into Russia, Turkey and Africa. As a result, Interoute was awarded major outsourcing projects to design, build and manage international networks.
