Curious about what the real Frank Abagnale Jr. is really like? Audience members at the April 14 performance of Catch Me If You Can can see and hear him onstage at the Neil Simon Theatre at a post-show talk-back session. Actor Aaron Tveit portrays Abagnale in the musical based on his adventures as a teenage con artist.

Based on Abagnale’s memoir and the 2002 Dreamworks movie, Catch Me If You Can opened on April 10 and features a swinging score by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman and a book by Terrence McNally. In addition to Tveit, the show stars Norbert Leo Butz as Carl Hanratty, the FBI agent who pursued Abagnale, plus Tom Wopat as Frank Abagnale Sr. and Kerry Butler as love interest Brenda Strong.

Now a successful security expert and consultant for the FBI, Abagnale described his feelings about Catch Me If You Can in a recent First Person essay for Broadway.com.
