DirectRooms can announce the upcoming ‘Lars Wallin. Fashion Stories’ exhibition of haute couture, which will run from 7th May to 18th September at the Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde in Stockholm.

This will be the 20th anniversary of his advent as a designer, and the exhibition will explore his contribution to the fashion industry over these two decades.

Lars Wallin’s entire designer production will be represented, with 150 fabulous dresses and sketches from the master’s pencil.

Lars Wallin has been famous and celebrated in fashion circles for two decades and has designed dresses for superstars and royalty, including Sweden’s Princess Madeleine and Crown Princess Victoria.

The king of Swedish high fashion works exclusively with only the finest materials to create his beautiful signature creations, and is constantly working on an ever-developing range of haute couture.

His current work includes a collection of leather jackets and a bed-linen collection. He also has his own makeup range, entitled ‘Make It Your Own’.

The leather jacket collection fuses biker with glamour using lambs leather with embellishments and with its own range of gloves and hats for both sexes.

Admission to the Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde complex is 100 SEK, with children up to 19 admitted free of charge. It is open Tuesdays to Sundays until 5.00pm, staying open late on Thursdays and closed on Mondays.
