Long Energy Solutions: Energy Intervention Contest

Beltsville, MD, April 11, 2011 – Long Energy Solutions, a division of Long Fence and Home, one of the largest home and energy remodelers in the Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia areas since 1945, launched its first ever Energy Intervention program on April 8, 2011. At the core of the initiative lies Long Energy Solutions’ Energy Intervention contest, an effort to draw attention to rising energy costs and home energy waste.

With over 65% of homes currently under-insulated and energy inefficient, Long Energy Solutions has taken on a mission to improve energy conservation for homeowners in the Mid-Atlantic region. The Energy Intervention initiative is designed to create awareness among homeowners about how much they spend on energy and how to conserve energy at home.

As part of the contest, each week for a year Long Energy Solutions will pay the highest month of a homeowner’s annual energy bills. Weekly winners will also be entered into the grand prize, a year of their energy bills paid by Long Energy Solutions.
