Glenn Davis Doctor G Album Release Date Changed
The long awaited first cover album release this year from Glenn Davis Doctor G has been rescheduled. The ’Cover Up’ album, which was set for release on May 24, 2011 will be out in stores a day early according to Kate Pollack, a spokeswoman for Time Warner Entertainment.
Sources close to Davis including his management company confirmed the change today. “Glenn has decided to change the date for personal reasons that surround that particular day. Initially, the May 24 release date of ’Cover Up’ was set because it was tied to an anniversary. Circumstances have changed for Glenn and he now considers that day one that no longer has meaning to him. He has even pulled two songs ”You Are The Woman“ and ”Oh Diane“ from the track list and will replace them with alternate selections. Glenn also expressed that the recent personal changes in his life have been beneficial to his well being and that he is now free to move forward in the most positive of ways. Glenn, who is always positive and giving, told me that being free at last has made him the happiest man alive,” said Kim Richards, head of public relations for Davis.
’Cover Up’ will be comprised of all cover songs and is a follow-up to the Glenn Davis Doctor G world record setting release on Valentine’s Day of the longest music album and largest mp3 by any artist. It has been published on at least one of the official sites for Glenn Davis Doctor G that Davis currently holds a catalog of four hundred twenty compositions. Davis is also involved in several other projects outside of music including a new line of electronics equipment, book publishing, testing of new technology for “Cloud” services and players, and extensive charity work. Davis, who is distributed internationally on the Warner Bros. Label, has also released independent import only music this year through Sony Music Entertainment (SME) that had been previously released last year.
