Decadent Publishing Releases Memoirs of Australian Author

The childhood memoirs of author Rita Lowther, were released this week by Decadent Publishing. Lowther, long-term resident of rural Australia’s village of Nimbin, states she wrote the story as a way to “thank all those brave soldiers who saved Australia from invasion during WWII.”

Senior Editor Lea Finley states, “The Wayward Child offers an intriguing and often poignant glimpse at the WWII era through the eyes of a child. The graphic realism, as she recalls the people and times which defined her early life, touches on both the horrific and the beautiful. It is a not-to-be-missed look at human nature and the impact of the world on the impressionable heart of a child.”

Australian book reviewer Warwick Fry writes, “It’s not often that you get the unsullied memories of a child growing up in the Australian countryside during the years of the Second World War published raw and unvarnished over sixty years later.”

The Wayward Child, currently available in a variety of electronic book formats, will be released in trade paperback in late April.
