TOKYO, Japan - Epson today announced that the Color Imaging Exhibition 2010 would be held from March 19 to 21 at the Bellesalle Roppongi Exhibition Hall A in Roppongi, Tokyo. The exhibition brings together prize-winning artworks from digital imaging contests organized by Epson Group companies in China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Taiwan during 2010.

Backed by its proprietary Micro Piezo technology, Epson’s inkjet printer lineup includes innovative products dedicated for use in the home, office, and for a variety of applications in commerce and industry. Over the years, the company has earned excellent reviews for its inkjet printers aimed at photography and graphic arts, and sees the Color Imaging Exhibition as a means of demonstrating its commitment to providing its customers with the highest standards of quality and performance.

The company is also dedicated to supporting the communities in which it operates, and sees the Color Imaging Exhibition as a way of connecting directly with its customers. The result of these efforts is a diverse, but visually stunning range of artworks that celebrates the variety of nationalities, cultures, ages and genders of the participating artists. Epson has a long record of supporting culture and the arts, and believes the exhibition is a means of contributing to the development of the photo culture in Asia, and also highlighting its renowned lineup of photo inkjet printers.

“We are very excited to present such a fantastic collection of prize-winning artworks,” said Ian Cameron, general manager of Epson’s Global Communications. “Epson believes that the Color Imaging Exhibition presents a unique opportunity for Asian photographers and artists to demonstrate their talents, and we are proud to provide a platform that allows them to do so.”

Going forward, the company is exploring opportunities to expand the scope of the exhibition and contests in the individual countries and regions. Those who are unable to make it to Tokyo to view the prize-winning items in person may see them on the exhibition website: http://global.epson.com/SR/community/citizenship/exhibition.html
