Mexico City, - Walmart de México y Centroamérica has been recognized by the British publication –Euromoney- as the company with the most convincing and coherent management and best corporate governance in Mexico, and the best business strategy in the Consumer Goods Sector in Latin America, according to the yearly ranking of the Best Managed Companies in Latin America, published in the March 2011 issue of the magazine.

The annual survey is one of the most prominent recognitions given by Euromoney to companies in Latin America and it highlights those having the most convincing and coherent management by region, by country, and by industry, and also having sound corporate governance practices.

The ranking is based on a survey of market analysts at major banks, consultancy firms and research institutes focusing on Latin America. Respondents were asked to nominate the top three companies in each of the countries or sectors they covered, taking into account their market strength, profitability, growth potential, quality of management and earnings.
