AT&T ranks highest in a tie in the Mid-Atlantic region, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2011 Wireless Call Quality Performance StudySM released today.

AT&T ranks highest in a tie in the Mid-Atlantic region, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2011 Wireless Call Quality Performance StudySM released today.

Customers in the Mid-Atlantic region ranked AT&T highest in a tie in call quality in a study that measures carriers’ performance based on customer perceptions in five areas of call quality -- blocked calls, dropped calls, static/interference, echoes and voice distortions -- and two areas of notification issues -- late/failed voice message notification and late/failed text message notification.

The Mid-Atlantic region includes Delaware; Maryland; New Jersey; Virginia; Washington, DC; West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
