Financial Recruitment Firm Sellick Partnership mentor budding Staffordshire students

Financial recruitment experts, Sellick Partnership, have partnered with Newcastle-under-Lyme College (NULC) to mentor students on the College’s Finance Career Academy.

The Stoke on Trent company is offering timely advice to pupils from the College in the face of a major youth unemployment crisis.

Sellick Partnership will prepare 16-19 year olds for university and employment by offering CV writing skills, interview tips and career advice. Their strong reputation with clients within Stoke on Trent has enabled Sellick Partnership to provide the links to established organisations in the local area, which are able to offer the students of NULC an internship. This will support the students by giving them the opportunity to attain valuable on-the-job training skills, which will complement their studies and provide them with the fundamental grounding required to embark on a successful and professional career.

Newly appointed as a Local Advisory Board member and Partner in Business for NULC’s Finance Career Academy, Kerri-Ann Hargreaves, Manager of Sellick Partnership in Stoke on Trent commented, “It is refreshing to be a part of this career enhancing programme at Newcastle-under-Lyme College which is giving students the opportunity to gain valuable employability skills and ultimately a professional qualification.
