Taipei, Taiwan - CyberLink SoftDMA and CyberLink Media Server have received Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) Certification as Protected Streaming TestBed Devices supporting Digital Transmission Content Protection over Internet Protocol (DTCP-IP). TestBed devices are used by DLNA Independent Certification Vendors, the authorized test labs for DLNA Certification testing, to validate DLNA enabled designs within the DLNA product model.

The first DLNA Protected Streaming products were recently Certified by DLNA and this Certification leverages DTCP-IP to securely share commercial movies between products in a consumer’s home network. CyberLink SoftDMA and CyberLink Media Server are both digital home enabling solutions that allow streaming and sharing of content such as video, audio and photos across PCs, slates, phones, TV and CE devices.
