Spiritual Center Dallas TX Announces Open Community

The Agape Center for Spiritual Living, a New Thought Spiritual Center in Dallas, TX offers an invitation to the public to experience a new type of spiritual community. Led by the Reverend Lee Wolak, the Agape Center for Spiritual Living is a non-denominational spiritual center dedicated to individual spiritual growth. The mission of Agape is to teach a positive, practical spiritual way of life where the spiritual tools needed to succeed in life are taught, helping everyone in our community to enjoy successful, joyful and rewarding lives.

The purpose of any spiritual center, relates Rev Wolak, is two-fold. First, a spiritual community must provide an experience of God. Not just a story about God, but an actual first hand experience of God. Second, a true spiritual center needs to surround its members with others who share the same ideology. Members of the spiritual community can be and normally are at different places in their individual spiritual journeys; however, they come together in order to embrace and support each other. This causes both individual and community growth. “A spiritual center is like a rose garden” explains Rev Lee Wolak. “Even though each rose blossoms at different time, it is that individual expression of beauty that makes the entire rose garden so magnificent! It is both our individuality and our collectivity that gives the garden its beauty and its diversity.”

According to the Rev Lee Wolak, there are three things to reflect on when deciding to become a member of a spiritual center. First of all, how well does the spiritual community serve someone’s personal needs? The Agape Center for Spiritual Living is committed to putting the individual’s spiritual connection first, knowing that once each individuals growth is nurtured, the collective growth of the community will naturally follow. Second, comes the issue of emotional experience. Is there a one-on-one personal connection with the community? Is the person attending comfortable, welcomed, cared about, and are they made to feel like family? Or is there that dreaded outsider feeling? Thirdly, does the community provide opportunities for each individual to become further engaged in the spiritual community?

According to Rev Wolak, attending weekly services, while important to becoming part of a community, is only one aspect of involvement. Attending is equivalent to be a spectator at a sporting event. The Agape Center for Spiritual Living provides ample opportunities for increased participation through classes, social events, and volunteering. This equates to actually playing the game. As Rev Lee Wolak says, "There is nothing wrong with watching the game. However playing the game is simply a much more dynamic experience! ”

Rev Wolak explains, “In today’s hectic, fast paced world, people are feeling a need to connect with God at a much deeper and more meaningful level. With today’s digital society, people are hungry for human contact and community with one another, in a personal meaningful way. We don’t need another ’Tweet’ we need a hug!” The Agape Center for Spiritual Living is a spiritual center devoted to teaching how to have a personal experience with God, while providing avenues to nurture relationships with others who wish to share that same journey. “We recognize and welcome all paths to God,” says Rev Lee Wolak, “we wish to provide the spiritual tools that empower us to transform our lives and experience a deeper relationship with God and with one another!”
