Celebrity Silhouette to be christened - CruiseDealership.com

The Celebrity Silhouette which is Celebrity Cruises’ Solstice class fourth ship, will be christened in Hamburg, Germany, on July 21.

Following the christening ceremony, the 2,886-passenger Silhouette will start on a two-night sailing cruise for travel agents and reporters . The first seven-night cruise sailing departs for Civitavecchia, Italy, on July 23.

The Celebrity Silhouette will do a number of 12- and 13-night Holy Land cruises from Civitavecchia before going to it’s new home port in Bayonne, N.J., in November to offer Caribbean cruises from Cape Liberty, N.J.
