Metech Recycling Approved as Covered Electronics Recycler (CER)

Worcester, MA – February 8, 2011 – Metech Recycling became one of the first companies approved as a covered electronic recycler (CER) by Connecticut’s Department of Environmental Protection. Connecticut law prohibits disposal of household electronic devices effective January 1, 2011. However, under the Connecticut e-waste law, residents may responsibly recycle their computers, printers, televisions and monitors without charge through CERs such as Metech Recycling. Manufacturers are financing transportation and recycling of these electronic devices.
