TDMA & GSM SMS Supported by a Single Server

Interoperability with TDMA & GSM combined with modular architecture wins contract for Jinny Software in the Caribbean

DUBLIN, 24th April 2006 – Jinny Software, a leading supplier of messaging infrastructure to mobile network operators, today announced it has secured a contract to provide an SMSC, coupled with a range of VAS applications and a Real-time Charging Gateway to a key operator in the Caribbean region.

The Caribbean operator has an existing TDMA network and is currently rolling out a GSM network. Jinny Software’s solution proved to be a perfect match for their needs as the solution supports both TDMA and GSM. Indeed, the Jinny platform supports all key technologies of the Caribbean/Latin American market - GSM, CDMA and TDMA from a single platform.

This contract further strengthens Jinny’s relationship with the Caribbean operator who is an existing MMSC and WAP GW customer. The operators key technology and project concerns combined with the requirement of project delivery within very tight timescales meant that Jinny Software became the clear provider of choice. This increased footprint for Jinny within this operator’s landscape is a testament to the satisfaction that they have felt with regards the Jinny product, price and support proposition.
