Gary Shankweiler Named Vice President and General Manager of Hydro Air Hughes and Hydro Air Dees

CLEVELAND, OH (February 3, 2011) –Applied Fluid Power Holdings, LLC, the largest fluid power distribution company in North America, today announced that Gary Shankweiler has been promoted to the position of Vice President and General Manager for its Hydro Air Hughes and Hydro Air Dees facilities. The two companies have locations in North Haven, CT; Cranston, RI; Clarence, NY; Raymond, ME; Harleysville, PA; Joppa, MD; and Richmond, VA.

Mr. Shankweiler has nearly 30 years of experience working with customers and suppliers in the fluid power industry, including 25 years in various engineering and sales management positions with fluid power manufacturer Rexroth. He most recently served as Business Development Manager for Hydro Air Dees. In his new role, Mr. Shankweiler will be the senior executive responsible for the performance of both Hydro Air Hughes and Hydro Air Dees.

Mr. Shankweiler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from DeSales University. He and his wife, Sharon, reside in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley.
