Irvine BMW Announces, BMW’s 335i Is Recognized In Wards "10 Best Engines Of 2011"
January 24, 2011 – Irvine, Calif.- Irvine BMW confirms, the MINI Cooper S has been named as one of seven vehicles in Ward’s “10 Best Engines of 2011”.
BMW’s 3.0-liter N55 Turbocharged DOHC I-6 on the BMW 335i was recognized for its efficiency and power.
The engines that were recognized utilized one or more of BorgWarner’s leading technologies including turbochargers, engine timing systems, variable cam timing (VCT) systems with Cam Torque Actuated (CTA) technology, spark plugs, glow plugs, electric air pumps and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) coolers and tubes.
