Beuchat Canada announces its support of the Underwater Observers Network (ROSM) for scuba divers

MONTREAL, QC – January 26, 2011 – Beuchat Canada announces its support of the Underwater Observers Network (ROSM) for scuba divers.
The ROSM is a non-profit organization dedicated to help protecting our aquatic environments.

To reach this goal, the ROSM created a website (www.rosm.ca) on which scuba divers are encouraged to record their observations of underwater marine life.

Because of the information provided by the sightings of marine life, the ROSM website is also a good source of information to consult before you go scuba diving at a new location.

The ROSM site currently benefits from 353 members who have registered a total of 11225 observations.

Beuchat’s scuba diving, freediving, snorkeling and spearfishing lines of dive equipment are distributed in Canada by Waddell Aquatics, a Montreal-based enterprise providing goods and services to water sport enthusiasts since 1975 from its location in NDG in Montreal, QC, Canada. Founded by Bill Waddell, the enterprise is now owned by Darcy Kieran, an industrial engineer specialized in new product development and commercialization.
