MILPITAS, Calif., January 6, 2011 – Movea, Inc., the pioneer in motion-sensing technology for business communications, home entertainment and computer peripherals, today announced it has partnered with The Douglas Stewart Company, a leading distributor and marketer of computer products, consumer electronics and school supplies, to bring its world-class Air Mouse™ Elite and Air Mouse GO Plus products by Gyration to the classroom. Both mice fully support Windows and Mac, and are available individually or accompanied with a wireless keyboard.

With these air mice, educators use natural hand movements to drive more powerful presentation delivery and more interactive classroom lectures, and their 100ft. range and no line-of-sight requirements gives educators the freedom to move around the room to captivate and engage students with interactive, multimedia lessons.

Gyration air mice enable an educator to turn the mouse cursor into a highlighter, laser pointer or pen, or gently swipe it in-air to activate embedded media and other special effects. Since multiple air mice can connect to one computer, teachers can also distribute them to the class and allow students to engage in simulations, modeling, and peer collaboration.
