This latest version offers improvements in the user experience, enhanced scalability and performance, and expanded database management system (DBMS) support for Netezza.

NTT Data Corporation has adopted Embarcadero® ToolCloud™. ToolCloud enables NTT Data to deploy Embarcadero® ER/Studio® on-demand, get new releases instantly and re-allocate licenses quickly among dynamic projects and teams. With ToolCloud, NTT Data modelers and architects can significantly increase their productivity by having access to the Embarcadero data modeling tools they need so they can deliver on critical business projects faster.

NTT Data has been using ER/Studio as its enterprise-wide data modeling tool for the past five years. The company had been managing thousands of ER/Studio licenses and found it difficult to track usage and ensure its agile project teams had immediate access to these software tools. This caused productivity loss and delayed delivery on revenue-generating projects. With Embarcadero ToolCloud, NTT Data gains the efficiencies of centralized license management and tool provisioning so teams have access to ER/Studio when and where they need it.

NTT Data adopted 1,000 licenses of ER/Studio and now has on-demand access to ER/Studio and will receive version updates instantly. Additionally, NTT Data can now optimize its use of existing ER/Studio tool licenses.
