Record California Rains have Property Owners on Alert for Mold

Yesterday, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger declared a state of emergency in six counties across California. The declaration authorizes assistance from the state to local government officials in Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Tulare and Kern counties.

The declaration follows 5 days of heavy rains that set records in many communities across California. Roads have been washed out, beaches closed, properties flooded and mud slides have caused havoc in many towns and cities.
