WHO ARE JOURNEYS OF DISTINCTION?

Maybe you haven’t heard of us, or our name doesn’t spring to mind when you’re writing about touring holidays.

That might be because we are a small company and we don’t shout from the rooftops. We know our customers and most of our bookings come from repeat clients and by word of mouth.

However we have an incredible pedigree. With experience of organising touring holidays since 1972, we have been around a while and have some very distinct knowledge of the travel industry. We are part of the luxury travel group Kuoni Travel Ltd, a sister company to Carrier, CV Travel and Kuoni Holidays

WHY ARE JOURNEYS OF DISTINCTION DISTINCT?

Quality and reputation are the two things we pride ourselves on. A Journeys of Distinction holiday is about seeing the world. In style of course. Detailed planning and attention to detail are part of the package and our customers get exactly what they are looking for.

We spend a long time talking to our customers so we know what they want. We ask them, we listen and then we implement what they tell us.

But that’s not all. Our touring holidays offer something a bit different and sometimes off the beaten track.

WHERE DO WE TRAVEL TO?

We know our customer base well. They like to travel to Australia and New Zealand, the Far East, India, South Africa, South America and the USA. In essence we travel all over the world.

SO WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

Firstly, our tours are not ordinary. From a trip to Harlem in New York, to a visit of an Amish Community; getting close to nature on a Galapagos cruise, or some community work on a visit to a village in India, you can choose to do some pretty unusual things. Secondly, we use local knowledge. We have local guides in all the places we visit and we use experienced Tour Managers who are there to look after everything and make sure you have the most wonderful holiday.
