Kitchen Renovation Contest Voting Has Begun- 18 Contestant Compete for $4,000

Kitchen Renovation Contest voting has begun for video submission contest being held by RTA Cabinet Store, located in King of Prussia, PA.

Since starting the contest in 2008, several other companies have tried to duplicate what RTA Cabinet Store has done, but none of them have been able to create the buzz and interest that RTA Cabinet Store has created this year with their video submission contest. With 18 contestants competing for a $4,000 cash prize, within the first 10 hours they had over 800 people visit the contest with 554 placing votes. “Being one of the largest online distributors of kitchen cabinets, everyone seems to copy what we are doing, so this year we tried to do something a little different with the video submission contest”, stated Gary Nealon, President of RTA Cabinet Store. Gary goes on to say, “Rather than having our staff select a winner this year, we are letting the public vote on who should win but letting them place votes for their favorite video. I was overly impressed with the quality of the videos and the time that our customers put into them. The amount of buzz that the contest has created for us, has been unbelievable”.

Homeowners were given 3 months to create and submit a video documenting their renovation or as a promotional video for the company. Voting started December 1st and runs through the end of the month, with the winner being announced in January.
