EMS Group Acquires Cypress Creek Pipeline Maintenance, Inc, Advanced Gis Technology, Llc, Celtic Controls, Inc, And Energy Services, S.A. De C.V.
HOUSTON, April 17, 2006 – Effective April 17, 2006, Energy Maintenance Services Group I, LLC (EMS Group) acquired Cypress Creek Pipeline Maintenance, Inc; Advanced GIS Technology, LLC; Celtic Controls, Inc; and operations of Energy Services, S.A. De C.V., broadening EMS’ service offerings and geographic footprint. EMS Group is an established energy operations and maintenance (O&M) services company that provides solutions to clients in five service lines, which are: Pipeline Management Services, Pipeline Integrity Services, Production and Pipeline Projects, Power Services, and LNG/ Natural Gas Services. The four acquisitions strengthen EMS Group’s strategy to be a full service provider of operations and maintenance services to the energy industry in North America. Each company has a highly skilled workforce and a strong track record of serving major pipeline companies.
Cypress Creek Pipeline Maintenance is a leading provider of pipeline integrity services specializing in hydrostatic testing, pigging services, mainline rehab and repairs, pipeline installation, project management, and inspection. Cypress Creek is based in Pearland, TX.
Advanced GIS Technology specializes in providing survey information to pipeline operators through Global Positioning Systems (GPS), developing and implementing custom Geographic Information Systems (GIS), providing engineering services, and performing consulting with respect to regulatory compliance. Advanced GIS Technology is based in Houston, TX.
Celtic Controls is a full service Instrumentation and Controls Company, supporting major gas production companies in Western Canada. Some of their services include maintenance, repair, new installation of measurement facilities; and resale and servicing of oilfield equipment. Celtic Controls is located in Edson, Alberta, Canada.
Energy Services is a pipeline services company located in Mexico City, which provides pipeline management services, pipeline integrity services, production and pipeline project services, and engineering services. Energy Services works with major energy companies and energy consumers in Mexico.
