Ralph Kimball is founder of the Kimball Group, which offers data warehouse consulting and education services. Prior to working at Metaphor and founding Red Brick Systems, Kimball co-invented the Star workstation at Xerox’s Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). Kimball has his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
