Lack Of Vision Has Randy Moss Moving Again

Kansas City, MO, USA - Randy Moss’ release from the Minnesota Vikings brings another level to the question of this superstar’s lack of personal vision and if he can finally bring it all together at his new home with the Tennessee Titans.

With his abrupt trade out of New England and into Minnesota, Moss looked a little shell-shocked in press conferences, but seemed to take the trade in stride. After less than a month with the Vikings, Moss was dismissed again and placed on waivers for a string of conduct issues. Now with another failed attempt on his record to be part of a team, Moss heads for a new experiment in Tennessee with the Titans.

McClure says people who lack personal vision lack decision-making abilities and struggle with their personal identities. “When you combine an absence of vision with an extreme personality like Mr. Moss, the results are unpredictable at best,” McClure notes. In his more than 12 years of coaching and studying high performance individuals, McClure has seen countless turnarounds for people like Moss.

“If he will take the time to figure out what he wants his life to look like and why he wants it to look that way, (Moss) could recapture and surpass the height of his performance as an athlete and citizen,” concluded McClure. Perhaps Moss’ new coach, Jeff Fischer, can bring the troubled Pro Bowler to a place of purpose and vision so as to save him from himself.
