Syrma Technology Expands Presence in India

EMS Company Sees Strong Demand For Wireless Telecommunications And RFID Design And Manufacturing Services

CHENNAI, India – October 27, 2010 – Syrma Technology, an India-based Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) partner, announced today it has added a new facility in the Krishnagiri District of Tamil Nadu, approximately 110 kilometers from Bengaluru, India, to accommodate strong demand for the company’s custom RFID tag solutions and its telecommunications infrastructure services. Syrma is the manufacturing arm of The Tandon Group, a leader in helping global OEMs successfully bring products and services to the fast-growing Indian market.

Syrma will be adding a total of 20,000 square feet of space and will add approximately 200 jobs by December. The company established the Chennai site in 2006 to provide end-to-end electronics manufacturing services for the Industrial, Medical, Defense and Telecommunications industries. The site has also become a major supplier of electronic components to leading global OEMs and a specialist in the design and manufacture of custom RFID tag solutions.
