Bayer MaterialScience raises prices for thermoplastic polyurethanes

Leverkusen, – Bayer MaterialScience AG is raising the selling prices for the product groups Desmopan®, Texin®, Desmoderm® und Desmomelt® in the Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America (EMEA/LATAM) region by EUR 0.25/kg effective November 1, 2010.

Raw material, energy and logistics costs for these product groups have increased considerably. To ensure continued reliability of supply and an efficient service for its customers, and to further develop the product range to meet future requirements, Bayer MaterialScience is compelled to pass on a proportion of these increased costs in the form of price rises.

Current contractual agreements will be fulfilled.
