UltraViolet Devices Certified as a Minority Owned Business Enterprise

California manufacturer of ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) and indoor air quality (IAQ) products is recognized by the Southern California Minority Business Development Council (SCMBDC).

UltraViolet Devices, Inc. (UVDI) achieved certification by the SCMBDC as a qualified minority owned and managed company which has met the certification criteria established by the National Minority Supplier Development Council. Certification was effective October 1st.

SCMBDC’s mission is, “As the region’s leading minority business advocacy organization, Southern California Minority Business Development Council represents the interests of more than 600,000 minority businesses in its 13-county service area in Southern California. The council offers nationally recognized certification to minority-owned businesses, strategic networking between corporate members and certified firms, and education, information, and skills development to help minority businesses enhance their capacity.”

As a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), UVDI meets the required criteria of being 51 percent owned, managed, operated and controlled by an ethnic minority or a group of ethnic minorities on a day-to-day basis.
