Cell Phone App To Help Home and Condo Buyers in Tampa Bay Area

Clearwater, FL – 10/20/2010 – Ron Nedd, a Realtor® with Charles Rutenberg Realty, has now made available a cell phone app that can be used by anyone looking to buy a condo, home or townhouse in the Tampa Bay area. With this app, buyers can directly access listing information and pictures in the local Suncoast MLS on their cell phone

Access to multiple listing service listings online has been very useful to buyers throughout the world as they can do their research at their own pace at any time they want, day or night. This has been especially helpful to buyers looking to purchase in Florida from a different state or even a different part of the world as they don’t have to wait to be in that location to see what is available.

With this new cell phone app, buyers can now pull up the information (including pictures) on any local residential property they see while they are out in their car or anywhere they don’t have access to their computer.

In addition, they can also use their cell phone’s built in GPS to use the app to pull up all the properties for sale in the vicinity of where they are currently located (in the Tampa Bay area). The listings will show up on a map and then the buyer can select any of those to see the full listing information. The app can also be used to find what is available based on criteria the buyer enters, like all the condos in Clearwater Beach with at least 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms between $100,000 and $500,000.

“It’s not unusual for a client to call me to say they were driving around and are in front of a house for sale and want additional information on it,” explains Ron Nedd. “With this new app, they can now pull up all the information that I could give them over the phone and in addition see the pictures that are in the listing right on their cell phone right when they are there.”

According to the company that developed the app, Smarter Agent, all current smartphones like the iPhone, Android phones, Palm Pre or Pixi and Windows phones can use this app and many of the non-smartphones can also use it (depending on the phone’s features) as long as the phone has Internet access.

This app is now being made available for anyone to download for free at Nedd’s websites http://www.searchdunedinhomes.com and http://searchclearwaterhomes.com.
