Kuoni launches latest America and Canada brochure

Kuoni has announced the release of its latest America and Canada brochure for 2011, which features holidays to each of America’s 50 states and Canada’s dramatic landscapes and fascinating cities.

“We’ve used our expert knowledge to pick out the unmissable sights across this enormous territory,” said Sarah Jackson, USA & Canada Market Manager. “We have a dedicated America team whose knowledge and expertise absolutely do justice to this great destination.”

The brochure includes details of some unique holidays and activities including planet-friendly city explorations of San Francisco in a two-seater electric car with GPS so you can’t get lost, stays in log cabins or tepees in the Grand Canyon and a helicopter ride at sunrise.

Also featured is a seven-night city and polar bear viewing adventure in Canada, taking in Toronto and Winnipeg and the bear viewing area of Churchill, Manitoba.

Included in the brochure for the first time are details on holidays to America’s Deep South, with colourful breaks in Lafayette, Natchez and historical Montgomery, Alabama and Little Palm Island, in the Florida Keys are also introduced, offering decadent escapism at the luxurious, all-suite resort of Little Torch Key.

Another first is the inclusion of Texas, with its ranches stretching for miles, cowboys, rodeos, lodges, theme parks, national parks and big city shopping.

The Fairmont Getaway in the Rockies is a new self-drive tour of Canada featured in the brochure that offers travellers the chance to stay in upmarket accommodation each night at Fairmont Hotels, with the added bonus of room upgrades in most of them.

Hawaii’s Oahu Island is featured as a slower-paced alternative to Waikiki, featuring the luxurious beach resort of Turtle Bay on the North Shore offering golf, tennis, horseback riding, hiking, biking, surfing, dining and shopping.

Special deals in the brochure include theme park tickets and free dinner for everyone in the party during stays of five nights or more at selected Disney hotels in Walt Disney World Resort. This offer is valid for stays between January 1-November 18 2011 and bookings made by 31 December 2010.

The brochure features many more luxurious train journeys and self drive holidays to soak up the huge distances across Canada, as well as the introduction of upmarket coach touring across the USA which includes transfers from customers’ homes in the UK to the airport, most meals and resort transfers too.
